Tried a little study in black and white. Here are a few I came up with tonight. I love black and whites, but am always afraid I won't get it right. You need a lot of contrast for them to work well.

Strolling through the streets of historic Kimmswick, Missouri, I saw this window. The cross in the window caught my eye. There's something about windows that grab my attention. Maybe it's the unknown...what is life like behind the window. Windows are the eyes of a home...they see all and we see life through them.
Window Dressing
I spent some time last spring wandering an old cemetary, where I was able to catch this rare photo. These two geese, perched high in the sky as if they are guarding the cross, made me laugh. They looked somehow wrong up there, but at the same time as if they belonged.
Feathered Faith
This is what I think of when I think about spending time at the lake...quiet sunsets overlooking the water...time to rest and relax and refresh.
Sunset View
I feel like I discovered a hidden treasure when I happened upon this website that offered tons of free texture backgrounds. Here is a sample of one of her textures. This can get way addicting.
